Position Summary:
The Administrator for the Periop Service Line drives the planning, management, implementation, integration and coordination of the Surgical Services areas ensuring it supports the delivery of high quality, cost effective patient care through activities based on dedication to excellence, strategic goals and objectives, effective leadership, and financial stability.  The Administrator  serves as liaison for surgical services programs and is accountable for surgical services program business development, operational efficiency, facilitation with physician integration, quality outcomes/patient and physician satisfaction, annual business planning, case management, and service line strategic planning/marketing.  The incumbent has direct supervision of the directors/managers of the Operating Room, PACU, Endoscopy, Pre-admission Testing, OPS, Surgical Care Unit.  

Minimum Requirements:
Ten (10) years of experience and mastery of professional or technical role/function in a hospital surgical services department required
Five (5) years of experience and demonstrated skills in progressive management roles required

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
BSN required from an accredited school of nursing
Masters of Health, Nursing, Business Administration or related field preferred
Registered Nurse License for State of Washington required
BCLS-AHA Healthcare Provider certification required at time of hire
AORN preferred
