Position Summary:
The Business Data Analyst-Retail extracts, aggregates, analyzes, and reports data and information used to support Strategic Planning activities for the business unit.  The incumbent provides technical support and end-user training for multiple software applications.  The analyst also provides back-up administrative support to the department team members, as needed.  This position requires broad knowledge and application of complex statistical data analysis tools and methods relating to a wide variety of strategy and business development activities. Service excellence and strong customer relations skills are required.   The incumbent is required to think analytically and work cooperatively and collaboratively with administrative, clinical and patient care leaders.  Work situations are varied, and require discretion, sound judgment and decision-making.  Internal contacts include all levels of staff and management.  External contacts include regulatory agencies, outside organizations and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience in Retail Health environment is preferred
Experience with automated information systems and computer software applications including data entry and retrieval
Education and experience in statistical process preferred

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (required) or three years recent health information management, quality improvement activities or other related experience will be considered
