Position Summary:
The Senior Business Operations Analyst is responsible for specialized financial and non-financial analysis and on-going complex projects ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures and governing Federal regulations, research award terms and conditions, and System practices in support of research accounts and awards at MultiCare's Institute for Research & Innovation and Federal Grants Office. The incumbent collaborates with Financial Services and other leadership throughout the organization to ensure timeliness and accuracy of work; organizes, analyzes, and presents data and objective analyses in all projects assigned; collaborates with Finance and other departments in the preparation and execution of the A133 audit; prepares for and executes other audits or requests by Federal and non-Federal agencies; provides input to the annual preparation of the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA); participates in the month-end and year-end financial close process and provides advanced analytical support.

Minimum Requirements:
Five (5) years of experience in accounting/finance/business support role in a research and/or not-for-profit entity that received and managed federal awards
Three (3) years grant/contract experience
Experience with preparing for and executing OMB A133 audits preferred

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required
