Position Summary:Primary function of this position is to audit provider documentation for accuracy and specificity of both procedural and diagnosis coding . After the audit is complete the finding are reported to the supervisor. Employee will then educate the individuals based on the finding to improve documentation and coding outcomes.           

Minimum Requirements:  1995 and 1997 Evaluation and Management audit experience. CPT and ICD-10 coding experience.         
"Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and under stressful conditions; ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize workload, work effectively and positively with others as a member of a team, and exercise sound judgment."      
Excellent communcation skills with a strong customer focus and ability to work with and provide excellent customer service to a diverse group of people; must be detailed oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy in documentation.             
Ability to effectively use of application software, including EMR, word processing, and e-mail.         

Education/Licenses/Certifications: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. CPC –Certified Professional Coder
