Position Summary:
The Communication Specialist is responsible for creating/writing/editing content that promotes the mission of the Foundations of MultiCare (FOM) – partnering for healing and a healthy future through philanthropy. Content includes: newsletter articles, case statements, brochures, proposals, reports, social media posts, e-blasts, video and web pages in collaboration with FOM and Marketing staff to maximize fundraising opportunities. The incumbent supports cooperative relationships across MHS departments, public constituencies and local and regional funders to support the Foundations of MultiCare in achieving its goals.

Minimum Requirements:
Three (3) years of progressively responsible communications experience required; preferably in a non-profit setting
Experience with publishing software applications

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree required in English, writing, communication or related discipline.
Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Primary focus in digital communication.
The Foundations of MultiCare require a cover letter of interest with the application.
A writing sample is required if selected for interview.
