Position Summary This is a professionally skilled position in the Mental Health Unit of the Human Services Department. An employee in this classification performs crisis intervention, stabilization and diversion services as a member of the Crisis Outreach Team.  Employees in this classification will work with mental health consumers as well as their natural and professional support systems to deal with their crisis in the community rather than in a hospital setting. Work is performed to provide 24/7 coverage. Work assignments are performed according to department policies, procedures, and established state and federal guidelines. Work will be evaluated by effectiveness in developing and implementing interventions with the goal of reducing hospitalizations, as well as in the effectiveness in linking consumers with on-going mental support services when needed.  Work is performed under the direction and supervision of an assigned administrative superior.

Minimum Requirements
Three years experience in a Mental Health setting required

Must be mental health professional in accordance with WAC 388-865-0150.
Current Washington State Drivers License, proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state and proof of insurance for the transportation of clients

Salary range $29.70 - $36.22
