Position Summary:
This individual is responsible for working with the Clinical Dietitian in the screening and assessment of the nutritional care needs of patients, development of nutritional care plans, diet counseling, and record keeping. This position operates independently in conjunction with the Clinical Dietitian.  Work situations are a variety of regular functions that require a service-oriented individual with strong organizational skill, independent thinking, good judgment, problem solving and decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:
Two years of experience in patient nutritional care preferred.  Food and beverage handler card required.  Serv-save certification preferred.

Registered Dietetic Technician or registration eligible within 120 days of hire date OR Associates Degree in dietetics or food and nutrition which meets the educational standards established by the ADA OR Certified Dietary Manager certification or eligible within 120 days of hire OR BA or BS in related field with Director's/Clinical Nutrition Manager's approval of transcripts.  Serv-save certification preferred.
