Position Summary: Daily operation of Placement Center.  Management of incoming calls from Rural facilities and Primary care doctors for direct admission, referral or transfer to a facility in the IDS. Maintaining an effective, streamlined One- Call transfer/admission center.   Collection of accurate demographic information and completion of intake form. Begin process of short registration based on current requirements. Time Management of patient flow and call system.  Self motivation and professionalism; Excellent Communication skills; Responds efficiently and appropriately to physicians and facilities in a positive manner.  Department and House wide phone calls; Appropriate documentation as relates to patient intake form; Customer Service focus. After probationary period, may train new employee’s; Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the referring provider or facility.  Perform related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements: Hospital registration or Medical office experience preferred.

Education/Licenses/Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
