The Epic Implementation Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of a component of a large Epic implementation for a newly acquired health system. Candidates should be seasoned Epic PMs who can help bring the new hospitals & clinics up onto our Epic system. Candidates must know the business and technical details of an Epic implementation and be able to get key stakeholders on board. They will be required to assist in managing a team of builders (FTE & Consultants) to execute the project.
The successful candidate ensures use of standardized project management methodologies, processes and tools. This position provides oversight and development opportunities to project resources and other operational support personnel as appropriate. The Epic Implementation Project Manager delivers within approved budget, schedule and meets quality standards.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) required
Seven (7) or more years project management experience required
Experience in Epic Implementations, or a combination of relevant experience, leadership skills, healthcare experience, and project management expertise leading complex organization-level initiatives required
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field required
Masters degree preferred
This is a temporary position for the Rockwood implementation, looking for a 18-24 month employment contract. There maybe the possibility of full-time employment at the end of the engagement.
This position will be located primarily in Spokane, with some work in the Tacoma area.
