The Information Security Analyst III role is a senior level role in the Epic Security team. The Security Analyst III has primary responsibility for administering user and provider records and managing role-based security files in Epic. The Security Analyst III is responsible for creating profiles and records, maintaining accessibility for qualified users, updating user functionality and resolving security issues for all security aspects of the Epic Ambulatory and Access/Professional Billing applications.
10 years Epic security work experience
7 years experience developing, implementing, operating or maintaining information systems in integrated health care delivery systems including hospitals and/or clinic settings.
Previous installation experience with healthcare systems databases and interfaces in hospitals and/or clinic settings or with a healthcare system vendor
Bachelor's degree (BS, BA) in MIS, CS, Business, Healthcare or related field; or 5 years of information technology experience.
Epic Security Certification
Multiple Epic Certifications preferred
An equivalent combination of additional qualifying work experience and technical certification or training may be substituted for education
Clinical/Financial license/Technical certification (RN, MT, RRT, CPA, MCSE, OCP, etc.) preferred.
Valid Washington State drivers license
