The Executive Director of Performance Analytics to lead the MHS Performance Analytics (often called "Business Intelligence") team in alignment with MultiCare's mission, vision and values to meet the analytic and knowledge needs of the community, stakeholders, patients and providers. This position is a key liaison with our external Performance Analytics partnership and facilitates the governance process with MHS and the external partner. This position will own and directly shape the MHS Performance Analytics strategy, organizational structure, technical architecture and budget. The Director partners with and advises senior, clinical/operational leadership on opportunities to define clear key performance metrics/indicators; close performance gaps and reduce the total cost of care delivery.
Ten years of progressive experience in both a managerial and supervisor capacity
10+ years of experience in project management in a large, matrix corporate organization
10+ years working in the field of data warehousing and Business Intelligence
Previous technical experience in Performance Analytics
Previous successful Performance Analytics projects that added significant value to the business
Experience in building and deploying Performance Analytics and analytics applications
Previous experience in data warehousing methodologies and Performance Analytics practices, including data management, data integration and analytics system architecture
Experience in Clinical healthcare is highly desired
Other leadership experience in areas such as Finance, Human Resources, or Retail, are desired but not required
BS/BA in Computer Science, MIS, Business or other related field
Masters degree required
