MultiCare's acquisition of Rockwood Health System has created a highly visible role in our newly created East Region. If selected, you will be a key member of the East Region’s executive leadership team along with the region’s Presidents, Chief Information Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Director of Marketing and Communications. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of the region and the Senior Vice President Human Potential, you will also be a key member of MultiCare's Human Potential leadership team.
Your primary focus will be to optimize the region’s performance and the execution of its strategic goals through effective talent management strategies. This will be achieved by establishing and managing effective relationships within the regional leadership structure, gaining an in-depth understanding of the region's strategic plans, operations and people needs and providing decision-making support. You will also maintain strong alignment with the HP division and be the key point of contact within HP for the SVP and other executive leaders within the East Region for strategic initiatives while connecting business unit leaders to the appropriate HP teams for all non-strategic matters.
This advanced professional level position works with the Human Potential Division team, Business Unit leaders and leadership at all levels throughout the east region. Work situations require strong customer focus, leadership, change management skills, creative problem solving, initiative, independent judgment in decision-making, a professional work ethic and effective interpersonal and presentation skills.
Seven (7) years experience in a senior professional level Human Resources or Health Care Industry role. Management/leadership experience.
Demonstrated strong and effective consulting and leadership coaching skills. In-depth knowledge of the healthcare workforce shortages and strategies in workforce management (recruitment, selection, development & retention) as normally demonstrated through progressively responsible experience. Additional requirements include innovative and critical thinking; decision making ability and proven relationship skills. Advanced training and presentation skills will also be important.
