Position Summary:
Performs random, routine and complaint driven audits of employee, provider and vendor access to the electronic health record systems utilized within Rockwood Health System. Performs user access audits of adjunct/ancillary software applications used within RHS that contain protected health information (PHI).

Minimum Requirements:
Two years experience in Health Information Management or Medical Records.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Understanding of HIPAA and Washington's Uniform Health Information Action.
Previous experience with reporting data.
Experience with Cancer/Tumor Board Registry.
Effective use of computer office word, spreadsheet, and presentation software, preferably MS Office. Ability to work with a variety of computer-based applications for tracking and managing data.
Detail oriented with excellent verbal/written communication, customer service and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize workload, work effectively and positively with others as a member of a team and exercise sound judgment.
Able to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction
Excellent communication skills

Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) with current certification required
