Greets and directs patients and visitors as they enter the hospital’s Main Lobby. Coordinates with Admitting to facilitate the registration process in a timely manner. Assists with the admitting process when necessary.
One year of customer service experience, preferably in a hospital setting. Excellent customer service skills, exhibiting patience, confidentiality, tact and a calm, professional demeanor in all dealings with patients and visitors are required. Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Professional appearance is required at all times. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as with others. Knowledge of basic computer and office skills. Six months experience in a hospital admitting department preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
