The Information Security Analyst II role comprises several functions related to the information security, including configuration of systems and security infrastructure components. The function serves as the foundation for information security in the processing environment to ensure the adherence to MultiCare Information Security Policies and Standards and to monitor for and react to security incidents. The Information Security Analyst requires a wide range of knowledge of security principles, security and computing technologies, enterprise-wide security administration, knowledge and proficiency in the use of technical tools for vulnerability and penetration testing, and knowledge and proficiency in network security. The Information Security Analyst works together with the Chief Information Security Officer to develop policies and procedures and implement as required.
Three to five years relevant security experience.
Three or more years of information technology experience, to include at least three years of demonstrated experience in information security principles (application development of secure code, desktop engineering to configure and manage secure desktops, IT performance engineering; monitoring of systems to ensure availability);
Experience managing firewalls and remote access helpful
Bachelor's degree (BS, BA) in MIS, CS, Business or related field or 5 years of information security experience.
Security+ or other relevant information security certification preferred.
