Position Summary:
The Lead Materials Management Technician works directly with the Director and Buyers to  ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in accordance with established department policies.  Investigates discrepancies with inbound freight; documents damaged goods and shortages/overages.  Resolves issues with outbound deliveries by working with couriers and requisitioners.  Schedules deliveries of over oversize items and product returns to the warehouse.  Is the customer service liaison for warehouse communications with clinic members.  Responsible for the replenishment of department supplies per established PAR levels. Assists with receiving of supplies and restocks shelves in General Stores. Responsible for accuracy of on-hand quantities of supplies in General Stores and accurate and timely data in the MMIS System.  Validates items/quantities delivered; prepares receiving documents, enters receipt data into the MMIS, stages items for delivery, ensures signatures are obtained to document user department receipt. Ability to remit appropriate funds to vendors is contingent upon timely and accurate receipts in the MMIS.

Minimum Requirements:
Prior healthcare or equivalent experience in supply chain distribution and/or organizing the inventory of hospital medical supplies preferred
Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment preferred
Basic computer/keyboarding skills or better required to accurately and expeditiously enter data into the MMIS System

College degree desirable
