Position Summary:
The Mental Health Therapist-PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) is a clinical position responsible for the delivery of mental health and chemical dependency counseling and case management services to an identified client population.  This position maintains a client caseload, following established treatment guidelines and agency policies and procedures.  Provides therapeutic intervention in a variety of treatment modalities individually matched to the needs of each client.  Provides referrals to other services and programs in the community, as needed.  Actively advocates on behalf of the client.  Incumbents may be required to participate in an on-call schedule and/or perform work outside of normal business hours.

Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience providing mental health counseling services preferred
Previous experience providing chemical dependency counseling services preferred


Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health related field or 4 years of directly applicable work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Must obtain Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor registration upon hire
Current Washington State Driver’s License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state. May also require reliable vehicle for client transport

Salary Range $18.50 - $22.56 per hour
