Position Summary:
The Care Continuum Innovation Manager is responsible for the operations, economics and quality outcomes of post-acute community partnerships. This includes overall execution, analysis and management and oversight of contractual relationships and strategies for cost avoidance. The manager ensures adequate and efficient provision of resources and an environment that facilitates optimal patient care. This is a management level position that is broad in scope and encompasses a wide range of services.  This position requires organization and interpretation of information relating to a wide variety of policies and programs.  Work situations are frequently non-routine requiring a broad vision of the future of the health care industry; sensitivity to the values and expectations of management, employees, patients, and community constituencies, complex data analysis, and the use of discretion and good judgment in decision making.  External contacts include community partners, consultants, competing organizations, professional organizations, physicians, and regulatory agencies.  Internal contacts include staff and management throughout MultiCare Health System, and require close collaboration and coordination with executives, business and strategic development staff, finance and the medical staff.

Minimum Requirements:
Three (3) years healthcare experience
Appropriate experience in program development, an administrative or management position of an acute care hospital or other appropriate health-related organization or program.
Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
Two (2) years of experience in contract management including developing, implementing, operating or maintaining analytics for contract processes and/or business support
Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications

Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Science (MS), Health Administration (MHA) or Law Degree (JD)
