Position Summary:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for the efficient and effective management of systems and technology education for employees, leaders, providers and students; s/he actively participates in designated daily operations for Education Services. The role includes a broad range of training management responsibilities in work systems and technology systems, with an emphasis on training for the electronic health record system EPIC. This working manager is responsible for team leadership, training processes and outcomes and operational efficiencies. Key results required of this role are learner competency, team productivity, service, engagement, cost/revenue, and quality outcomes, as applicable. The incumbent is part of the Education Services management team and shares responsibility for the operations and achievement of the organization’s learning needs. Key partners and collaborators are the workforce, Information Services,, Clinical Informatics, Human Potential, key leadership groups, Epic and other vendors, and professional organizations.

Minimum Requirements:
Five (5) years of combined relevant experience in such areas as education/training, management, instructional design, human performance technology, leadership coaching, organizational learning and/or improvement
Proven success demonstrated in the outcomes of multi-site, multidisciplinary projects
Three (3) years of experience in a formal leadership role

Bachelor’s degree in a health related field, information technology, business or public relations, required.
Master’s degree in related field preferred

Epic training experience or certification is necessary for this position.
