MultiCare Behavioral Health seeks a psychiatrist for weekend rounding and coverage on our Inpatient Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit at Tacoma General Hospital. The psychiatrist will independently evaluate and treat established inpatients (ages 13-17), coordinate inpatient care and collaborate with inpatient disciplines, screen and admit new patients to the unit, and assist with maintaining safety and clinical excellence on the service. Physical exams are completed by a rounding pediatrician and pediatric specialty consultations are available through Mary Bridge Hospital. The provider will also provide after-hours telephone coverage for the unit over the weekend. Compensation is a per diem rate.

• Completion of psychiatric residency
• Board certified/eligible at time of employment
• Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
