Our dynamic multi-specialty group is seeking a PA-C or ARNP to partner with an established Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine physician. This position will support a unique hybrid practice in Central Tacoma that includes Family Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and chronic pain management.
The goals of this position are to improve access and quality of care for existing patients, and to expand access to quality medication assisted treatment of substance use disorders. A requisite personal attribute is a non-judgmental, empathetic attitude. Primary care experience is preferred, but experience in Addiction Medicine or chronic pain management is not required, as training will be provided by the supervising physician. He serves as the Medical Director of Addiction Services for MultiCare Health System, and is the president-elect of the Washington Society of Addiction Medicine.
•Graduate from a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Experience in Family Medicine preferred but not required
• Ability to work 3 -4 days a week
• Licensed in the state of WA as a PA or ARNP by the time of employment
• Board certified by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
