Our new Pediatric Medical Director will play a key role in that future.  If selected, you’ll lead a dynamic team of emergency medicine professionals in the state-designated Level II Pediatric Trauma Center for Southwest Washington.  Reporting directly to our Chief Medical Officer, you’ll focus on achieving world-class quality and improved provider engagement. The duties of this full-time position include:

•Ensuring Mary Bridge meets the emergency medical service needs of children in our community, service area and region.
•Representing Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and the Mary Bridge Emergency Department in our community/service area/region and to extramural individuals and organizations.
•Networking with other emergency departments of the community/region to expand reach of Mary Bridge pediatric emergency services.
•Driving Mary Bridge Emergency Department to achieve the four pillars of MultiCare Health System Performance Excellence: Energized Culture, Population Health, Accelerate Core Processes & Extend and Expand Markets.
•Passionate and effective leadership to positively influence patient and family experience.

•Minimum of eight years experience as a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician (including residency/fellowship)
•Commitment to work three clinical shifts per month
•Experience leading an Emergency Department or similar service
•Fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
•Board certified/eligible by time of employment
•Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
•DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
•Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
