Position Summary
The Processor is responsible for receipt, preparation for testing, and storage of all Core Laboratory specimens; and for maintaining centrifuges, preparing assigned reagents, performing inventory, and answering the phones lines and providing excellent customer service to clients.  This is a technical position requiring strict adherence to established protocols and procedures.  Work situations are routine and require a strong commitment towards excellent customer service, accuracy, organization, and prioritization.  Internal contacts include patient care and other laboratory staff and management throughout MHS.  External contacts may include physicians, physician office staff, and outside laboratories.

Minimum Requirements
Three years experience as a Clerk/Phlebotomist preferred
Two years experience as a processor preferred

Education/Licenses/Certifications
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Three years experience as a Clerk/Phlebotomist preferred
Two years experience as a processor preferred
MLT (ASCP) preferred
