This position assists with the planning and implementation of informational programs that encourage and motivate customers to live fuller and richer lives with diabetes. This position works with other staff members to plan and assist in directing MHS customers to appropriate services. This is a support position performing a variety of routine to moderately complex front office and clerical duties. Work situations require organization, prioritization, flexibility, and time management skills. Contacts are with a wide variety of internal and external management and staff level positions; patients, families, physicians, and insurance companies/CMS and hospitals. This position works under direct supervision and works closely with other departmental staff. Decision-making is limited to the daily routine duties of the position.
This Program also assists with the OB CARE CONNECT high risk pregnancy program and is responsible for ensuring the high risk pregnancy patient has been oriented to the program benefits, patient appointments are coordinated and made, patient has access to My Chart and provides instruction to the patient on the use of My Chart as necessary.
-Two years professional customer service, receptionist, or concierge experience; preferably in a medical setting
-Experience working with and sensitivity to the needs of Pregnant women, elders, or disabled individuals
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
