MultiCare Regional Cancer seeks an experienced BC Radiation Oncologist Medical Director to join a strong and well-established cancer program in the Pacific Northwest. This is a full-time position primarily at our main cancer center located within Tacoma General Hospital. Work within a growing, multi-disciplinary center and with a comprehensive oncology team including 11 medical oncologists, oncologic surgeons, and 13 advanced practice providers. Accreditations include Apex, CoC, and NAPBC. The practice boasts a full range of technological services including Varian equipment and systems, CyberKnife Radiosurgery and GammaMed HDR Brachytherapy. Software platforms include Epic, Aria 15, Eclipse and MIM. Responsibilities include overseeing all clinical radiation oncology care provided, strategic and technology planning, quality improvement and performance metrics.

•Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience in radiation oncology
•Experience as a medical director or in a comparable medical leadership role preferred
•Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration or public health is preferred
•Board certified in radiation oncology
•Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
•DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
•Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
