Position Summary:
The Research Project Manager manages activities associated with investigator initiated studies across multiple disciplines with multiple investigators. The Research Project Manager works independently, with guidance, and collaboratively in the following areas: project management, proposal development and writing, award management, and technical assistance. The candidate oversees day to day operations including identifying and securing needed resources; creating implementing, monitoring and updating project plans; facilitating meetings with appropriate priorities, tracking tasks/deliverables to ensure timelines, milestones, and/or goals are attained; monitoring and reporting progress; resolving or escalating issues in a timely manner. S/he must have a strong understanding of the requirements for successful clinical and/or healthcare delivery research; excellent research, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills; as well as the exercise of discretion, independent judgment, and diplomacy. External contacts include donors, sponsors, and research collaborators.

Minimum Requirements:
Four (4) years experience in grant development and/or research study project management

Bachelor’s degree required; Masters in Public Health or another relevant professional field preferred
