The Quality Outcomes Project Manager provides leadership and direction for system-wide strategic initiatives and other Quality Performance improvement work in assigned area of responsibility. This position must maintain strong relationships with system-wide Administrators, Directors, Managers, and Physicians and is responsible for collaborating with internal and external leaders to provide overall strategy for assigned area of responsibilities. This position requires advanced QM expertise, analytical and evaluative skills, strong leadership skills, exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead and direct resources to support change through the implementation of improvement strategies. Contacts are with all levels of the organization (management and staff), external regulatory agencies (state, federal and independent) and Physician partners.
Recent administration and/or clinical management experience in an acute care setting required
Previous leadership experience and change management experience required
Previous experience with computerized information systems (email, MS Office, hospital systems, etc) required
Previous experience using statistics preferred
Quality improvement or patient safety experience preferred
Bachelors degree in health care field or equivalent in education and experience required
Masters degree in health care field or equivalent in education and experience preferred
Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
