As a Social Worker in our new 27-bed hospital-based unit, you will be responsible for psychosocial assessment, consultation, therapeutic interventions, and referrals for patients and families in relation to psychosocial and mental health aspects of medical management. The unit was designed to be a modern, inviting space with private rooms and open social areas, while also including state-of-the-art safety features to protect patients and staff. Our treatment program is based on the recovery model and trauma informed care (TIC). You’ll be a key member of our collaborative team of pediatric and mental health professional’s working together to provide exceptional patient care.
What You’ll Need:
• Master's Degree in Social Work
• LSWAIC (Licensed Social Work Associate/Independent Clinical) required
• Experience working in a hospital/acute situation or equivalent social service agency, experience relative to the medical social work function required
• This position requires organization, analysis, interpretation of information from multiple sources, and the use of discretion and good judgment in decision-making. Internal contacts include all levels of staff and management
