The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for independently organizing, analyzing, and presenting data to support the organization's Finance and Strategic Planning functions, serving as support to the Manager/Director and providing accurate, timely, and objective analyses in all projects assigned. Included in these projects are ongoing and special financial analysis and support to Finance, Administrators, Directors and Managers throughout the health system, as well as other special projects as assigned. The Senior Financial Analyst provides advanced analytical support and has extensive internal contact with members of the Financial Services or Revenue & Reimbursement and all levels of leadership throughout the organization. This is an advanced professional level position working with the Finance Division team, Directors and Managers throughout the health system. Work situations require complex data analysis, strong computer skills, initiative, independent judgment in decision-making, a professional work ethic and effective interpersonal skills.
Minimum five (5) years experience in finance and/or financial analysis, in a healthcare setting preferred.
Systems experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Healthcare experience preferred
Bachelors degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required, with a concentration in accounting, finance or other related field highly preferred.
Value Based Purchasing or Health Plan experience preferred
