The Registered Nurse in Mary Bridge Infusion & Specialty Services is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating the delivery of skilled patient care in the home setting. . Nursing care is based on an individual plan of care/plan of treatment developed by the RN staff members and monitored by the health care team, as ordered by the provider. The RN is directly accountable and responsible for the quality of care provided to patients and has the authority to direct care, provide education, seek resources at the unit/department level, and delegate appropriate tasks. Uses their specialized knowledge to perform the activities of administration, supervision, delegation and evaluation of nursing practice. The RN has continuous contact with physicians, patients, patient families/significant others, community agencies, patient care staff, and management.
One year acute care Med/Surg, ICU, ER, OR and/ or one year pediatric experience required for Pediatric Staff RN.
Previous IV Therapy experience preferred.
Previous Home Health experience preferred.
Licensed in the State of Washington as a Registered Nurse.
Possession of current CPR Certification
Pediatric certification preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
*This position will primarily be in the home setting working with pediatric patients and their families.
*Pediatrics experience strongly preferred.
*Day shift hours, with approximately one weekend per month.
