In the South Sound, trauma care is provided by a unique partnership between MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center and Madigan Army Medical Center called the Tacoma Trauma Center. This collaboration of civilian and military hospitals has provided uninterrupted Level II trauma care for the South Sound since June 21, 2000.
The Director of Operations (DOO) is responsible for efficiently managing day-to-day operations for Trauma Trust, a non-profit healthcare organization. This position is a key member of Trauma Trust (TT) leadership team and requires extensive internal and external contacts. The incumbent provides direction for staff, will be flexible, diligent and a quick learner who is organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently and prioritize deliverables. Overall, this position is responsible for all aspects of the following areas including: general accounting (including a financial audit), financial analysis & budgeting, payroll, administration and human resources.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Masters degree Business, Healthcare or Accounting - CPA. A Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for master’s degree.
Minimum of six years experience in physician practice management, clinical operations, office management or in progressively more responsible leadership/management roles
Strategic, business and program development experience
Demonstrated track record and successful ability to work with physicians and physician groups in a collaborative manner
Knowledge: QuickBooks, Intermediate Excel knowledge, Microsoft Office
