Position Summary:
The Manager - Value Analysis develops a long term, sustainable strategy for reducing non-labor expense, enhancing clinical supply chain performance, and improving clinical resource management contributing to the quality of patient care.  The incumbent collaborates with clinical, administrative, and staff across the healthcare system and within a defined organizational committee structure to identify, develop and coordinate strategies for process improvement and cost savings opportunities related to improved product, technology, service and process standardization and utilization to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered, cost effective care, results-oriented project outcomes and value analysis best practices.   The Manager - Value Analysis reviews and assesses applicable financial, clinical, and operational data, along with evidence based literature, to appropriately assist in the selection, evaluation, monitoring, analysis and implementation of cost-effective products, technologies, services and processes.  Serves as the primary contact for the University Health System Consortium (UHC), attending networking events, conferences and meetings to maintains awareness of quality improvement and assurance activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Five (5) years of experience in a clinical setting such as Med Surg, OR, CV/IR required.
Expertise in supply chain processes, performance and process improvement or re-engineering preferred
Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity

Bachelors degree, BSN required
Master’s degree preferred
Licensed RN in the state of Washington
