The Windows System Administrator III position is an advanced-level technical position. This position provides technical analysis, installation, maintenance, and modification of the environments supporting Windows servers. Determines Microsoft Windows operating system software architecture ensuring hardware/software compatibility for the server environment and is responsible for evaluating new operation system software products. Participates in installations, tests, and implementations of system hardware, software, manufacturers maintenance releases and utilities. Analyzes system performance to ensure it is meeting availability and performance objectives. Assists team personnel in resolution of hardware, operating systems, and application software problems. Develops documentation on system specifications and operating instructions.
Five - seven (5 - 7) years experience in Windows server operations, implementing, operating, maintaining or using (as a super user) systems in an Information Technology or health care setting.
Previous installation experience with healthcare systems, databases, and interfaces in hospitals and/or clinic settings or with a healthcare system vendor preferred.
Specific recent relevant Information Technology or healthcare experience may be substituted for education.
Bachelors degree in business, healthcare, or Information Technology preferred.
Technical certification (MCSE, Network+, A+, Security+, etc.) required.
Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
Must have extensive MVWare experience
