RN - System Float Pool - ED
Job Details

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse-Float Pool provides clinical nursing care to assigned patients, performing related assessments, procedures and treatments, evaluations, patient care plan development/revisions, and education to patient and/or family. The RN-Float puts the patient first and ensures that high quality care is given to assigned patients by following policies, clinical guidelines, safety systems such as medication scanning and bed alarm use, timely and accurate documentation, core measure compliance and serving as a patient advocate. The RN-Float makes providing an exceptional patient/family experience high priority.
Experienced Nurses in Acute Care will only float within their specialties.
Minimum Requirements:
Three (3) years of experience required
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
BSN or an RN License with a signed agreement to complete the BSN within 3 years.
RN licensure issued by Washington State to practice professional nursing
Refer to CPR and ALS policy grid for requirements
Must be available to attend eight consecutive weekdays of general hospital orientation. Experienced Nurses in Acute Care will only float within their specialties. Must have current Washington RN license at the time of employment ACLS and PALS required at time of hire.
