Position Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. This position works at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Work situations are a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity in order to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. The CT Technologist has knowledge and understanding of age related care needs for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. External contacts include patients, family members, and physicians. Internal contacts include nursing service staff and management.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous knowledge of and/or experience in computerized tomography desirable.
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health, Radiologic Technologist
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) upon hire, or within 6 months of hire into this classification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Saturday and Sunday Two - 12 hour shifts 0700-1900 plus every other Mon and Friday 630a to 5p.
