Clinic RN- Wound Care
The Wound Care RN is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating and delegating nursing functions across the lifespan of individuals, families, caregivers and populations in an ambulatory setting. The RN functions independently when utilizing the nursing process for nursing care and health teaching in the maintenance and the promotion of health or prevention of illness and the support of a dignified death. This RN functions interdependently when executing a medical regimen under the direction of a physician. This RN is accountable and responsible for facilitating improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction. This position requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral and sociological sciences, and requires critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, which includes knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data. The Wound Care RN collaborates with patients, patient families/significant others, physicians, patient care staff, management and community partners.
Two years experience as a Wound Care RN in a clinic setting preferred
BSN minimum or an RN License with a signed agreement to complete the BSN within 3 years
Must be WA state Registered Nurse license
