Position Summary:
The MultiCare Inland Northwest Center for Weight Loss and Wellness offers Surgical Weight Loss services at Rockwood Clinic and Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Washington. It is certified as a center of excellence by the MSABQIP. Patient Surgical & Financial Coordinator serves as a key member of the bariatric surgery team. They are responsible for coordinating a panel of bariatric surgery patients and the logistics of their pre-surgery work-up, which typically spans between a two to eight-month period. They serve as the key point of contact for patients, keeping them on track and informed at every step along the way to surgery.

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of two-year work experience in a medical office setting required
Experience with medical terminology
Healthcare insurance or related experience strongly preferred
Two-year or four-year college degree preferred
Experience with EPIC desirable
Experience in customer service roles preferred

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
High school diploma/GED equivalent required
Related college coursework and or training preferred
